Garland Q. Ridenour, PLLC

     Garland Q. Ridenour is an innovative attorney with a diverse practice. He has extensive trial experience in both state and federal court. His legal experience includes corporate law, banking, business finance, real estate, bankruptcy and commercial litigation.

     A considerable portion of Mr. Ridenour’s time is devoted to mergers and acquisitions, corporate financing, private placements of debt and equity financing. Mr. Ridenour has extensive experience in financial and legal corporate reorganizations, involving financially distressed companies.

     In 1992 the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas appointed him Chief Executive Officer of Jr. Food Mart of Arkansas, Inc. in U.S. Bankruptcy Court No. 90-50419S for the reorganization of a retail gasoline and convenience store chain operating 70 locations in Arkansas and Missouri, with in excess of 200 employees and with annual sales in excess of $25,000,000.

     As Chief Executive Officer, he was required to work and coordinate with approximately 100 creditors, their attorneys, an unsecured Creditors Committee, the U.S. Trustee’s Office, and several banks and financial institutions in order to formulate and ultimately obtain, the necessary votes and support to achieve confirmation of a Plan of Reorganization.

     As court-appointed CEO, he was able to successfully reorganize the Company and returned it to profitability.  This Chapter 11 reorganization facilitated the removal of the Company from bankruptcy.

     Garland was born and raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville on an athletic scholarship and was a member of the 1964 Arkansas Razorback Championship Football Team.
